My mornings

Hi, there! How are you doing?

All is good here. A picture from how most of my mornings look after doing yoga on the kitchen floor. Started this routine when the lockdown happened and my shoulders, neck and back feel so much better. I can crochet for many more hours a week than before. Opposed to what I wrote in my previous blog post, I have ordered more eyes for the buttcrack characters and will make more since all the mustache ones sold out in one day. Thanks so much for your orders <3

Also, I have increased the dose of the medicine I’m taking, I suspected this would happen because of my gene mutation (MC1R), red hair. I remember when I was taking out a wisdom tooth in the 1990s and I had to scream MORE ANESTHESIA! to the dentist. Nowadays the dentists know that they have to give more to us redheads. So, I will take 1/3 more than the average dose. Went for a blood test and my doctor called to inform me that the dose was still too low. I already feel so much better, so thankful. Is it really possible to feel even better? After a life of depression, frustration, anger, sadness, darkness, I can’t believe this is happening. That it’s working.

Plans for the weekend: crochet, read a lot, go to the market early tomorrow morning and buy some Italian olives, cheese & ham and have a picnic with Johan. Either at the river or at home, depending on the weather. Talk soon.

Yay! Apparently us red haired people also respond better to medicine I just learned, crazy!

I really enjoy that picture for some reason. I did not know redheads have a gene mutation – same for blondes or just redheads? I know I am more sensitive to certain medications and other things I often have to look out for. I also wasn’t able to comment on your last post, but I love the buttcrack characters as well – they make me smile. Have a wonderful weekend. 🙂 And enjoy your picnic.

It’s only redheads, apparently we’re just 1-2% of the population, wow!

I did not know that about redheads either. Thank you for being transparent with your health and spirit troubleshooting. I love that you are moving forward and getting what you can to live your best life, even in lock down! 😉

Thank you Robin, it feels good to be transparent about it, hoping I can help other people to open up and talk about it (not neccessarily here, but with family/friends).

Nicola, hope you found the right meds. I’m so happy it worked out so amazing with the first one I tried. Was prepared to have to try a bunch of different ones. Was lucky 🙂
