The murder of George Floyd (RIP) has taken away much of the world’s focus on Covid-19, the virus that has made people so scared and anxious – instead we are now furious and fury leads to action. I have the impression most people on the social media channels I follow are acting & posting information. Personally I decided not to post the black square on my instagram feed as I didn’t want to take up space from the important messages, the black squares have proven to blur out the voices that need to be heard. Internet is a great, quick and efficient place to spread information and I hope we all do this offline as well.

I don’t want to take away the attention on Black Lives Matter here, but I want to show you how good Berliners are at reacting to injustice. Against any kind of antisemitism. Never again, Germany.
I will never be able to fully understand what it is like not to be a priviliged white, but it’s our duty to listen, read, watch and learn. And be there for each other.
