Week 22 through the phone

Last week, I wasn’t feeling too well emotionally. Guess a backlash had to come to be able to restart again. I’m taking my meds, but I don’t expect not to have any downs. Glad I’m out of it now. Started Monday with a coffee in my favourite café.

Was craving chinese dumplings, so I faked it with russian pelmeni from the freezer and a sauce made from sesame oil, soy, rice vinegar, chili flakes & sesame seeds. The beer crates are from outside my favourite Späti.

This street almost looks like Wrangelkiez, Kreuzberg. And the stairs at home, which you’ve seen one hundred times.

The elderflowers are exploding. I texted Johan Let’s have Musti! Mustafa’s Gemüsekebab at Warschauer Strasse. Tasty and fresh, I had the halloumi and falafel sandwich.

Been trying to start practising using brushes again. It goes slow, but I’m in no rush. It will take time. I found a hidden stash of old illustration prints, thinking of listing the few ones in the shop. Anyone interested?

I went to Gaststätte Krüger with Johan and Andrew where we had beers, Bockwurst & Kartoffelsalat. Was amazing to sit outside and be served.

On Thursday I was a mess, had soup at New Arirang (Warschauer Strasse) and texted…

Allison to finally meet properly for drinks in the park. Now I’m in love with Charlemange, the dog. Friday, I was sleeping in, editing some pictures and went to Badfish for Guinness with friends. Saturday was for editing pictures for the blog the whole day and Sunday for beers in the park with more friends. I’m over beery parklife now, so tired of hearing my own voice telling the same stories to different people. Do you ever get that feeling? Gonna dig my face into books for a while, feed my brain with other stuff and shut up. Right now I’m reading The Idiot by Elif Batuman. It’s good, not amazing, but well written and I like the flow.

Hej Sandra!

Kram!!
