Week 25 through the phone

Hi there, how was your weekend? Let’s have a look at last week through my phone. Do you like this series? I have always loved to document things, as a teenager I kept a diary sometimes writing 20 pages in one day. So, Monday, met Andrew and Johan at Bier-Bar, one of our favourite places in the neighbourhood. Love how genuine it is, a great mix of old and young people.

On Tuesday I found bread from northern Sweden at Rewe, oh the happiness! Johan and I took a walk to Prenzlauer Berg and then ended up at Hirsch to eat Maultaschen, the salad was much better.

On Wednesday, I made salad and tzatziki after we had met our friend Ioannis for a few beers. Right before we were about to head to bed, Oskar texted us and wanted to meet for a beer at Fitchers Vogel.

Last week was a lot about painting, I’ve tried this week again, but everything looks shit. I thought practising was a reason to become better. Frustrating.

On Thursday, we had coffee and the Swedish bread as a snack and later on salad again. I only want to eat salads all Summer.

Friday, I had a fight with a friend and tried to focus on work, but it was hard. Never did I know how good it is to fight with your friends, if you don’t break up, you end up being even better friends. Like any relationship, right?

On Saturday it was raining and my friend texted me Let’s be best friends again. Sunday, Johan and I went to Lemongrass for amazing Thai food. This is the food I was longing for the most during lockdown. Lemongrass never fails.

Found these plates on the street and fell in love. Last week was more productive in a long time. Gonna work on making this week even more productive. The more stuff you do, the more stuff you want to do and the more you end up getting done. Have a nice new week, all!

The paintings are intriguing and organic looking. Keep it up.

I love your “documentary series”! Your photos are nothing short of amazing and it triggers me to bring my camera on walkies…
And Sandra, your work doesn’t look like shit, I very much like your style! Maybe you’re not happy with it but it only leaves room for improvement right? You are so harsh on yourself, be as kind as you are to Elvis to yourself and you’re (paint)tail will be wigging in no time! Scout’s honour! ;o)

Love this! Being as kind to oneself as to Elvis, that’s amazing!
The “shit” work I won’t show because I threw it away 😉
Happy day to you, Alexandra <3
