Week 30 through the phone

I guess I have started a new Monday tradition, went to this café to write the Week XX through the phone post. I’m back today as well.

Went out to run errands for myself and for Johan afterwards.

Found a printer on the street, it was in its box and looks almost not used. Haven’t checked if it’s working, but it looks good when you plug it in. Tuesday morning was sunny and we had coffee on the balcony.

I painted some boards for Johan’s menus. And did the mistake to post a picture from the week before, so that Greek salad picture is a Week 30 lie.

Wednesday I made tagliatelle with tomato sauce, celery & burrata. We headed over to Mitte to deliver menus to a new restaurant which has opened…

Messer! Our friend Ioannis is head chef and Johan has made the logotype and menu design.

What do you want to eat? Anything but carbs. We died laughing when Ioannis served us pasta. It was super delicious, so no complaints of course. Truffles, butter and parmesan cheese. Got some special treatment with this salmon and different caviars. Delicious.

On Thursday Johan bleached my hair and I didn’t take any pictures and Friday I found this picture of myself to the left on my Facebook, so I decided to make a new one. 2007 & 2020.

On Saturday, I woke up and convinced Johan it was cheese soup time at Boxi. It’s so so so good.

Pictures from the same meal as this.

Saturday evening, we went to a birthday party at Khwan and came home at sunrise.

Woke up a little bit before noon and had no energy to cook, so we ordered Lemongrass. Lovely. I didn’t need to eat more that day. Watched Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, have you seen it? Loved it!

Through the years I have been posting some Berlin recommendations on my regular instagram. Yesterday I decided it was time to give those recommendations its own account, sandrajutosberlin. So much fun, can’t wait to fill it with more content.

Ended the week with a long walk to Mitte, love to walk around really late on a Sunday night in Mitte, it’s so dead compared to Friedrichshain. Hooked up with Johan and Andrew in a bar and swooshed home with a taxi.

Every time you post a home cooked meal I wonder where you got the gorgeous plates from. Please don’t say the flea market 🤞🏼
