Week 42 through the phone

Monday started with an invitation to this place for fabulous lunch. How colourful and good looking can food possibly be? Well, here is the answer. Being still pretty full when dinner time arrived, we had chanterelle toasts.

Tuesday, a couple of records reminding me of a late night with Johan and Allison.

Early wednesday morning. As maybe a few of you know, both Johan and I don’t eat breakfast. Only black coffee. We’re both most productive before lunch. Like I guess us humans are – we weren’t served breakfast as soon as we woke up back in the days, we had to go out looking for food. Now we’re looking for money instead to survive. The same hunting shit.

Pappardelle with chanterelles etc and it was raining. It makes it even cozier to…

…work on the huge wholesale order for my friend Hiwon in South Korea. Evening came and I made some soba noodles with tofu and veggies.

The evening was wet and nice for a walk before bed. Love to come home soaking, taking off my clothes and dive into bed.

Hello Thursday, went to the laundromat and while waiting, we had coffee at Boxi Espresso.

Tagliatelle with green beans.

Thursday Allison and I went coffee hopping. Charley and I were matching. And that old plastic bag. Nothing was planned. Great minds you know.

An evening stroll and trying the new Musti on Warschauer Strasse, we had a fight and I cried on the salad.

Got up early to run errands in Kreuzberg. Modulor was the first stop.

Got myself some yarn and then had lunch at The PandaNoodle at Lausitzer Platz. Love all the glittery shit.

Ended up bar hopping in the evening.

Cheese soup at Boxi and beret shopping at the mall (ended up bying a black one, the lilac one I wanted 2 years ago but that colour wasn’t to find anywhere, now it’s everywhere). I don’t recommend buying berets at Monki & HM, they get fluffy in a bad way after just a couple of weeks. Not that I didn’t know. Next time I’ll go back to buying berets second hand and/or old lady shops.

Dinner with this and that and later ending up at Feuermelder with Allison, Gerrit, Charley and later Johan joined.

Since the bars were closing at 11pm (now they aren’t opened at all), we went to Charley’s place and looked at all the stuff Allison is collecting. Charley likes to rest on my clothes.

Sunday morning we were invited to this place for brunch. Those two were my favourite dishes, you can read about them in the post I just linked to.

It’s week 47 now. I’ve been working tunnel vision style on the Wrist Worms wholesale order (150 pairs) and yesterday I finally finished. Now it’s time to start thinking about my own shop. We started a bit too late on this wholesale order, so my shop has been suffering from it. I promise there will be a lot of new pairs available very very soon. I made a new logo with a typeface I thought I would never use. I did the same with the toilet door in my Gothenburg studio in 2009; painted it this colour which used to be a colour I really disliked, the door made me love it after just a few weeks.

Hope to have the ability to focus on this space more now. Stay safe!

Sandra, I am so happy you are starting regularly blogging again. I have been following you for almost a decade or more and it made me remember the old times. Also I love how it feels more free now when you write. Take care!

Oh, you’ve been following for such a long time, wow! Hi 🙂
I like the writing part so much more now that my blog isn’t “big” anymore, easier to be more personal. Glad to have you here, Elena 🙂
