The last week of November, I made those chunky Wrist Worms, love the aubergine ones and should make myself a pair. I’m curious – do you have a pair of Wrist Worms? Which colour?
Made my standard pasta (whatever shape I have at home with a super simple tomato sauce which I tweak every time I make it & mozzarella). Went to the pharmacy to get medicine.
Took a walk in the evening and had a flat white, glad Fine Bagels is open until 8pm. I sent the picture to the right to Johan with the words I love living in a big city.
Our bodies started telling us both they were tired of carbs, so most of the week we ate prison soup (various veggies in broth) & salads with beans or chickpeas. More Wrist Worms were made, all these are sold out – hopefully more of the purple yarn will arrive later this week and the dark mustard later today.
I tend to forget to go outside unless I have an errand to run, these pictures are from a non-errand walk. The lockdown has made me appreciate home much more, love being here and not feel the temptation/obligation to go out to bars and meet people.
Found a piece of the Berlin I fell in love with.
A sad picture and a picture of food I love. We had some days of not eating dairy, eggs or meat.
Coal shopping again. And Wrist Worms, as per usual this time of the year. 20% off this week with code 2ADVENT! I really don’t have time to get the stupid virus this month so I’m screaming DON’T HUG ME to everyone I meet. Busy or not, please just respect the social distance. We’re in this together and as much as I don’t want to get sick myself, I even more don’t want to make anyone else sick.
Spent time with Charley, his parents and Johan having a party listening to great music and laughing our asses off. Finding friends like these when being 40+ is something I would have never believed when I was younger.
On Saturday I met up with my friends Ernie & Jacqui to finally meet their baby Millie, how cute is she? 7 months old and a sweetheart.
Coffee from Happy Baristas who Johan works for and then back home for crochet and brussel sprouts – I’m addicted to them. With Johan’s garlic olive oil and sea salt. Do you have a favourite way of eating brussel sprouts? I made these last year and WOW, try it! That sauce.
OK, time to continue this fashionable week of crochet, laundry at the laundromat 1km away, coal shopping & book-keeping. Let’s see if Week 50 delivers any nice pictures at all, there is at least a Christmas tree in the house which is very cute.
