Week 51 through the phone

Week 51, it was my birthday and lunch was a pizza from Ritrovo. Hadn’t been eating that heavy food for a while, so the rest of the day I spent reading in bed. Good birthday, though. Like whole of December, I was mostly crocheting. You can keep your hands warm with a pair of Wrist Worms, you already know, but thought I’d say. January and February are difficult months for many of us, especially during this pandemic.

After 10 years, I’m still not tired of this view. Had an egg sandwich for lunch one day. With Kalles Kaviar. So delicious.

Met up with my friend Gerrit for some Christmas preparations and passed by Intimes, where Johan, Allison & I had a beautiful evening during fall, before the second lockdown.

Lots of running around and Christmas preparations going on.

Sometimes pasta dishes look disgusting, but it was tasty – I promise. Flat white walk with Johan.

Some gravlax in the making. Omg it turned out so tasty, still got some in the freezer. The last day of week 51, I took a long walk.

And that was it.

It’s already friday, I’m thinking a glass of wine would be a good idea, but only if someone else is up for it. There is no better word on this planet than the German word Feierabend.

My husband and I debate which is better: kalles kaviar on top of the bread, then other toppings…OR other way around like you have it. It certainly is prettier on the very top so you see the ridges, but I think it tastes better smeared on the bread. These are the questions that keep me up at night.

I like it straight on the bread cause it doesn’t fall off, but like you say – it’s prettier on top. The eggs end up falling everywhere unless I eat it with cutlery, hahah.

Hope you had a Happy Birthday! I have been thinking of buying a pair of wrist worms for a long time, so I think I may do that today. One to match my winter coat!
