Hello, nature.

Hello, lake. Bye nature, I prefer city environment.

Hello, fake nature.

The brewery has been shut down since March 2010.

Hi! You should walk over to another place where there are more beautiful things to take pictures of. Sweet of an older man to want to share his recommendations, but as the introvert I am, I am really bothered being approached like this. How do you feel about being approached and talked to by strangers?

And old GDR style wall.

I can’t remember seeing this bucket construction in Sweden, memories from my old country have started to fade. I don’t feel at home when I go there, I don’t feel at home here either. BUT the feeling of being at home has never been that big of a deal for me. When people say Are you going home for christmas? and they mean Sweden, I don’t understand, because home has always been where I pay my rent.

Hope you’re all well, xo

May 17, 2021 at 3:38 pmI hate when people come up and talk to me. Luckily that’s not happening that often in Schleswig-Holstein. People here like to take care of their own shit. ;D
I lovelovelove the last picture. There’s a certain dynamic in it and the red colour spots – ugh, love it! <3

May 20, 2021 at 2:01 pmLuckily this doesn’t happen inside the city that often. Organizations wanting my money of course, but those I have learned to just simply ignore without feeling bad about it at all.

May 20, 2021 at 6:35 amI love when people / strangers approach and to talk to me. I used to be very, very shy as a child but since I left Sweden and had to fend for myself I have become so much more outgoing and now there is no off button! My mother says I am making up for lost time!
I see a meeting with a stranger as an opportunity to make a new friend or simply learn something new, you never know but then again I am not alway chirpy and sometimes I feel like hiding under a blanket like most people do every now and again.
This can also be a bit disturbing as fundraising people such as Red Cross, Greenpeace or WWF volunteers or 99% of all homeless people I cross, will ALWAYS stop me to ask for money. They see me from afar and zoom in on me like hawks… Not always pleasant as I can’t meet their expectations most of the time…
Anyway… The bucket slide exists in France too so maybe it’s a European thing? ;o)

May 20, 2021 at 2:04 pmUgh, the organization hawks – I simply just ignore them these days, they are way too annoying and even still with the pandemic just IN YOUR FACE.
