Hi there, I just checked my two previous posts and they are about food, too. Maybe I should become a cookbook writer instead of whatever it is I’m doing at the moment. My job plans for the summer didn’t work out and I am pretty stressed out let me tell you. Let’s focus on food instead.
I made this yesterday, not much cooking – more chopping. Wanna know what it is?

1st salad: pointy cabbage, arugula (rocket salad, ruccola), tahini/vinegar sauce topped with kalamata olives & za’atar from our friend Bar + some cheesy lilac flowers because they were lying around on the kitchen counter.
2nd salad: Mozzarella, cucumber, red onion topped with a sauce I put in a blender containing: olive oil, garlic, fresh chili pepper, cumin, coriander/cilantro, salt and pickled jalapenos.
And a liba bread sprinkled with salt fried in olive oil and filled with cottage cheese in which I stirred red hot sauce.
I don’t know if I was extremely hungry but I shouted This is REALLY tasty to Johan. It was something about the flavours mixed together and the oily crispiness of the bread.

May 27, 2021 at 10:19 pmSorry about the job! Certainly stressful.
I could certainly see you doing food photography. It might be a direction to head, maybe not.

May 31, 2021 at 10:46 amThis looks and sounds really tasty. Thank you for the always inspiring food ideas. I haven’t. Ade your strawberry/halloumi/basil salad thing in a while, but it’s on my list for this week 🙂
Sorry about the job, hopefully something else will work out to ease your stress.
