Found this bird on the street a few weeks ago, been finding lots of good stuff lately. The balcony is filled with plants; most of them things to eat. Johan asked me to get at least one thing you can’t eat, so I got him this trippy petunia.
In a week, I’ll get my first shot of vaccine. Yesterday was Elvis’ (my golden retriever baby brother) 13th birthday and I hope we’ll meet again as soon as I can go visit again. The area where my family lives has had the highest incidence rate in Europe lately.
I updated the shop with buttcrack characters. Paul and Kiki are the latest additions.
Tell me something good, would love to hear from you! xo

June 7, 2021 at 3:02 pmI will be getting my shot as soon as I can but I need to recover from surgery first… :o(
Good news is my furbaby Lenny is celebrating his 13th birthday on Wednesday, he is almost as “young” as Elvis! I am furiously googling dog birthday cakes for seniors as we speak!
Hope I can come up with anything mouthwatering for a soon to be pure Jack Russel multi mixbreed adolescent! Fingers crossed!

June 8, 2021 at 4:10 amI’m getting new glasses this week! After four years it’s about time! Always such a good feeling. And in 12 days I’m getting my second vaccine shot. I’m crossing my fingers for you that you’ll be able to travel soon!

June 11, 2021 at 8:45 pmI’m fully vaccinated as of two weeks ago and going to see my family in the midwest: Omaha, Kansas City and St Louis. First time on a plane in two years. But the better news: I got back into sewing and working on two baby quilts for two friends both expecting girls. I forgot how much fun it is to create with fabric. I have plans on getting crafty again with my wool year stash. Seeing your commitment to a creative life helped push me, so thank you. I also got back into morning yoga and planted some really colorful coleus plants at my front door. Gotta count the small wins!

June 23, 2021 at 1:49 pmOh I’m so glad to hear about the push!!
I always admire people with the patience to make quilts, I just need to look at my sewing machine to feel itchy haha.
