Studio Wednesday

Let’s have a look at what’s going on in the studio today.

Painting with watercolours. A medium I haven’t used much in my life, it’s extremely hard to master.

Looks nice and quiet? It’s nice and LOUD. For some reason there are extra much police cars and ambulances howling their way on the street outside. The dogs are howling back.

Crayon, graphite and scalpel.

Found that huge lamp stand last year, should fix it soon. I’m good at fixing lamps, should I start a career as an electrician? It was actually one of very few things I was good at at school (together with German, sewing/crochet/knitting, creative writing, cooking, art, typing (I do 550 keyboard strokes per minute) & CHILDCARE of all things.

What were you good at?

I was really bad at chemistry, it was extremely frustrating not to be able to SEE what was going on. The same when my ex tried to teach me programming – zero understanding from my side.

GOOD NEWS: The dark mustard, 50% wool & 50% alpaca, pair of Wrist Worms is back in stock! I know it’s in the middle of the summer, but last week this yarn was finally available again. It was one of my customers favourite pairs last year and the manufacturer had no yarn available from November until now.

You are the most inspiring person to me on the internet. Thanks so much for sharing your art <3
In school I was good at art and German (my mother language, but I guess nowadays it's hard to find people in Germany that aren't using "Alter" or "Digger" in every sentence they say …)
