Since starting this series Weekly, it feels like Monday comes quicker than before. And I love Mondays. This Monday in particular, cause it feels like a new season is starting, like going back to school after the summer holidays. Started my Monday last week with coffee at my favourite place, with the most beautiful sign there is.
Worked and in the evening, I decided to take a walk in the neighbourhood. Took a picture of these wrapped posters, like it so much that I’m going to print it out and hang it somewhere in the flat.
Right after I took the previous picture, I heard someone screaming SANDY, It was Andy & Candy sitting outside of Bier-Bar so I joined them. Sushi with Candy (Johan) afterwards.
On Tuesday, we took a car over to the other side of town to deliver some t-shirts Johan made for Sumolights. We stopped at Chapter One in Bergmannkiez for coffee, I prefer cafés serving coffee in real cups, not in those paper ones (but I understand it’s a Corona thing atm).
These colours, omg. We went home and I put on my sneakers for a walk to a yarn shop.
The sky was all stripey.
Found some dicks and went to Real to buy cheese. They really managed to design the corona protection well…

Found some new colours which will be available later in September. Gotta finish lots of pairs + the new Wrist Worms logo + go to Sweden before. Winter jacket and bare legs, love this season!
Love these colours. Went out to have coffee with Johan and a neighbour had put books in the staircase for us to take and I found quite a few nice ones.
Slurp. While I was chopping salad for dinner, Fiona texted me asking if we should have ramen dinner. YES.
I ate the whole thing. The next day, it was time to buy envelopes to ship Wrist Worms. There are still pairs available on sale (22€ instead of 35€) here.
Good old good looking tiles and me drinking caffeine x2. Tried to sketch the new WW logo but failed, I’m not good at sketching.
Bought Johan a sunflower and continued working. Got an email with a positive job offer, so…
I took out Johan for some Indian food, we go to Yogi-Ashram on Gabriel-Max-Strasse. It’s not great, could be served on an airplane, but I like to go there.
Went to Bier-Bar and took that picture of myself to show a friend how much fabric that skirt has. The morning after someone asked if the colours were accurate on my insta story, so I sent her this.
Sofa to give away and me + Allison having coffee. I have to Allisons in my life now, sweet.
Went to Mitte to pick up my new glasses (YAY, I LOVE them) and to Modulor to get stuff for the Wrist Worms.
All of a sudden I stepped into a raspberry/licorice cake. The picture to the right is the most “liked” picture on my instagram in years.

Had never had Cacio e Pepe before, so I made one on Friday evening. It turned out so good, but I missed a glass of red wine with it. It’s so heavy. The sky was spectacular.
Had a slow friday night and slept really bad. Saturday started with flat whites at Happy Baristas, talking with our friend Marian about a second lockdown, a future financial crisis and other uplifting topics.
Boxi showed its best side with lovely mushrooms and other autumnal things.
Got some fish and at home I made pasta with tomato sauce and dill. I wrote on instagram story that Italians probably would kill me for putting dill in the tomato sauce. Got so many messages from Italians saying No, as long as you don’t put pineapple on pizza. Couldn’t agree more, ew. Do you like it?
Wasp invasion on the balcony, so now it’s the dining table being our eating place again. Saturday night was spent at our friend Johann’s place together with his brother David and my husband Johan.
Sunday morning, had been looking so much forward to this: CHARLEY arrived! We made fish for lunch and he went all crazy, begging for so much fish, like a junkie. Sweet.
We took a nap and after he left, Johan and I had salad with tzatziki (homemade of course, storebought is so disgusting). I make my tzatziki like this: 1 liter of 10% fat Greek yogurt, 1 cucumber (grated and rinsed), 3-4 cloves of garlic, a bit of olive oil, 1-2 teaspoons salt (depending on how much salt I used for the cucumber) + fresh dill if I have it at home. I think the tzatziki tastes best after about 3 days in the fridge.
This week is all about Wrist Worms if nothing else pops up in my inbox.
