Week 16

Hi there! Let’s have a look at last week. I don’t feel the same joy about these posts anymore, I might stop and focus on other things to post here instead. I know many of you like these posts the most, I did too.

It was strange to find ICA’s avocados in a shop here. ICA is a supermarket chain in Sweden and it’s only them selling the ICA products. We shared a pizza funghi from Ritrovo.

Our bed/livingroom faces north so in the early early morning there is a tiny big of sunlight. Peps came over for cuddle & play.

Simple food is good food. Steamed sushi rice, pointy cabbage, scrambled eggs & a salad with cucumber, seaweed, sesame seeds (with sesame oil, rice vinegar & soy). + store bought chili oil. Had a halloumi/falafel sandwich in the evening.

This building is of course going to be renovated, fingers crossed they do a beautiful job (the chance is tiny). To the right is an entrance to another building.

Doesn’t look much, but linguine with cabbage is amazingly good. Peps came over again, I love her.

Been getting up early to write morning pages and take walks. I don’t want to jinx it, but I have been feeling better than ever for a longer time than ever.

Sailors & a pasta with tomato sauce and burrata. Guess there’s a picture of that dish in every weekly post.

Went out for a walk with Johan and he bullied me for looking like I was dressed for the forest. Haven’t cared much about what I’m wearing, my hair looks like I’m working as a newsreader in the 1980s.

I made this chili oil and changed the recipe a bit (half the amount of five spice and three times more sichuan pepper). Met doggie in a park before the 22-05 curfew kicked in on Saturday.

Found this sofa thing on the street, it would have been wonderful in the studio, but too heavy to carry 2 kilometers obviously. Love the shapes of these candleholders.

Yum & Yum.

Hola Peps! Had a flat white in a real cup and it felt like when I was young.

Found these chairs and thought No, I have too many chairs already. One can’t have too many chairs, Sandra! Johan saw a tulip in that figure’s arms. I didn’t.

Fint inlägg 🙂 Jag bor i England och hittade ICA ‘röd spetspaprika’ här i matvaruaffären en gĂĄng för nĂĄgra veckor sedan, undrade ocksĂĄ hur det kom sej…

I think you should do what you need to do. I think these weekly shots were like a diary for you, but now you need something else. No good being an artist if you don’t let yourself grow.

If not feeling the love anymore, then please don’t feel you need to keep doing this. I will miss your houndstooth coat and footwear choices, and especially your amazing food combinations (they always look so tasty!). Feels like you are midwiving some new version of your self that needs to be born. Here’s to re-invention and rebirth!
