Yesterday I took S3 to Friedrichshagen, an 18 minutes long train ride from Warschauer Strasse S-Bahn station. Unfassbar is a German pun (Germans love puns, so do I, sorry friends).
Because of Berlin being the world’s second Turkish capital there is Turkish food everywhere. YUM. I absolutely love gözleme.
Found an empty building which I wished to see the insides of.
Went to the backside and found some other rundown buildings. A guy came out of one of them asking me where I was heading. I said I was just taking pictures and he kind of liked it. My German is worse than ever when it comes to speaking (reading is better than ever since I read newspapers every day).
I’m very much in my own world when I’m walking around taking pictures so after a second guy approached me and held a long conversation, I put in my headphones – I like being in that world of mine when I’m out walking – a reason why I almost never ask people to join me.
These guys were quiet.
Passed by an abandoned beer brewery on my way down to the lake Müggelsee.
You find these tiles here and there in the parts of Berlin that used to be East Berlin (maybe you find them in the old West as well, correct me if I’m wrong).
I’ve been here a few times before, but never walked through the tunnel below the river Spree.
It was time to do it yesterday.
I came up to 100% nature. To be continued…
