It’s grannysquare blanket time, haven’t made one for sooooo many years. The one in the pictures is the first one I made for myself about 15 years ago. Pictures are taken today so you see how long it has lasted. The yarn is 100% high quality alpaca wool.
The one I sell hasn’t been made yet, it’s for pre-order. The colours will be very similar to the ones in the pictures. You find it for pre-order here. Allow me 4-6 weeks to finish it, it takes me about 80-100 hours to make it.
I never get tired of it.
Handmade in Berlin by me. There are no proper machines for crochet except for human beings. That’s fascinating in year 2022.

April 12, 2022 at 1:22 pmI remember this blanket and so happy to see it is such good shape! I just made a ripple lap blanket out of cotton/hemp in a colorway reflective of the Seattle waterscapes. Doing a row a night so calming. Have fun making your granny squares.
