The madame loves to eat when we eat.
I’m making pasta with tomato sauce and mozzarella many many times a month. While the pasta is boiling I make a quick tomato sauce with these ingredients:
- Canned tomatos (love Mutti’s or Oro’s peeled ones, not the crushed ones)
- Fresh red pepper (the spicier the better)
- A bit of crème fraîche
- Salt & black pepper
Sometimes some dried oregano or thyme or fresh basil.
Topping it with olive oil, mozzarella and more black pepper. Kalamata olives are tasty too, but not a thing I eat with this dish often.
