Berlin is hot and I cook a lot. Most of the time

Berlin is hot and I cook a lot.
Most of the time on the balcony we eat, on our plates are very rarely meat.
Water is in our glasses, lots of fuel to save our asses.
Save our asses from what? This and that and what not.
Pasta, gubbröra, råraka, cheese - the balcony always provides a good breeze.

What’s your favourite summery food? Mine is gazpacho & tzatziki, different kinds of salads with cheese. Less carbs than in winter I guess.

Found that bird on the street earlier today. We used to have a hare living on the balcony but he disappeared, a couple of years later we saw him in the window of our local Döner joint.

Trying to grow zucchini, chili, basil, hops, lettuce, sage & a flower called Miss Jekyll just for its name. Will get some mint (always give them their own pot - otherwise they will take over everything) etc.

On Sunday it’s our 12th wedding anniversary & in a few minutes @johanludvig enters the kitchen to make dry martinis & we’ll dig into this. Sardines will come out of the oven & be served with baguette afterwards.

This weekend is all about celebrations in one way or another (including painting walls). Cheers!

I got a bit obsessed with the shadows. How are you doing? Haven’t talked to you much lately, thanks for still being here :)

I’m doing very well, it takes time to re-program oneself after being in one way for 40 years and then all of a sudden get chemical help for the brain - I am a bit scared to say it but I have never felt this well for this many weeks in a row before.

Welcome to the studio I share with @johanludvig - The past couple of years, I haven’t spent much time in here (trauma because of a neighbour), slowly moving back in.

1. Our extremely oldfashioned heating, two stools & a column I found in the trash.

2. This morning I wrote ”morning pages” here. Friends passed by on the tram.

3. Peps is here visiting today, she’s the queen of Das Schloß.

4. The Merry Christmas sign is hung on the wall again, it’s like a fairytale I live in.

5. Plants, some of them waiting to move out on the balcony.

6. This week’s #wristworms batch so far.

7. @evie_barrow made me this mini me in 2009 when I still lived in Gothenburg. The boxer guy is there to tell me it’s not OK to always do whatever my mind tells me is OK.

8. Got lots of yarn obvs. The glitter is going to cover our gas meter & fuse box thing in the hallway when we’re finished painting.

Today I could walk into a flower shop and buy a lily and it felt like revisiting an old life. A lily in my kitchen, it’s so last year literally. I wonder if the future life has my ass on a chair in a restaurant. Would be amazing.
